Ellie Mae Ellie Mae is from Thimbleberry Farm, in Michigan, owned by Peggy and Arnie Goldberger. She is a grey dun yearling and is best friends with Miss Mimzy, another yearling jennet we now own who is frosted white. Both girls together are loads of fun. They are being retained for future breeding stock. Miss Mimzy Mimzy arrived here at our farm in April along with her BFF, Ellie Mae. The two cannot be seperated ever! Mimzy is a lovely frosted spotted jennet who is very affectionate.She is the one that always brays to us when we enter the barn. She is a yearling and will be retained for our breeding program along with Ellie Mae. This little Jennet is the favorite of the barn along with baby Roo! Both are keepers for Hickory Springs. Santana Santana is drop dead gorgeous...no doubt about it! Santana comes from a long line of Valintino lineage going back to the Sicilian imports. She has 418 known ancestors in the miniature donkey tree. Santana is a great mother to her foal, little Roo and is in foal again for 2009 to Asspirin Acres Gold Seeker, our stud. She is a lovely grey dun who has produced a deep dark chocolate baby for us. This one is also a keeper. Odelia Odelia is a beautiful light red jennet who is in foal for 2009. She is the largest Miniature Donkey we own hovering at 34" tall. Her pedigree is outstanding and she produces wonderful babies. Her last baby Breeze is stunning. We are looking forward to her 2009 foal. She is a wonderful well mannered girl and we love her. Odelia is the herd leader and all other jennets follow her around! She is the experienced one of the bunch. Jewel Jewel, a lovely well bred spotted grey and white jennet is a wonderful addition to our breeding program! We love her calm and easy going demeanor and she is a wonderful mother to little Opal. She too is in foal to our stud, Asspirin Acres Gold Seeker for a 2009 baby. Look for her in the show ring! Spirit Spirit, our registered Miniature Mule arrived here in May. She traveled all the way from southern Ohio and has settled in nicely. She is 44" tall at the withers and is beginning her driving training. Spirit is affectionately called Martha Mule here at the farm. Our good friend, Belinda has been helping out with this adorable, young miniature mule. Martha is a lovely buckskin color and will surely catch the judges eye in future driving competitions.
